In the year 2000, the company formed a joint venture with Finagle a Bagel of Boston in the US and Phoenix Ventures of Sri Lanka (Brandix), marking a pivotal point in its growth trajectory. Demonstrating the true spirit of entrepreneurship, Mahinda Ranasinghe acquired 100 percent of the shares in 2011, solidifying Finagle’s position in the market.

From its humble beginnings, Finagle has grown to become one of the largest industrial bakers in the country. The organisation’s expertise in producing a range of sandwich breads with premium quality has elevated Finagle as the most loved and preferred brand of bakery products among millions of customers. This success is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Finagle’s vision extends beyond being the most preferred household brand of quality breads. The company has always been an innovative leader in the sector. One of the biggest pieces of evidence of this is the introduction of frozen range bakery products to the local market in 2013. By adding quality and convenience, Finagle created a combination that makes consumers fall in love with the brand more.

Finagle’s journey extends beyond the boundaries of countries and continents. In 2016, Finagle began its international expansion, which now includes six countries: the US, Australia, New Zealand, the Maldives, South Korea and the UK.
